This piece is modeled on a 19th century Hancock, Massachusetts meetinghouse bench. The legs are held onto the top in a half dovetail joint, and the stretcher, with a few screws, locks the whole bench together. This joinery was used because the bench was originally designed to knock down.
Available in walnut or cherry.
The bench in the photo is walnut and is 73"L x 12"D x 18"H
